Dr. William Lile, D.O., “The ProLifeDoc”, is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is licensed to practice medicine in both Florida and Alabama. He has been an instructor for both the University of Florida and Florida State University, OB/GYN residency programs. He is the former chairman of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida, and has an active practice in Pensacola. In 1999, Dr.
Lile took over the practice of a physician that had been the largest provider of abortion services in the Florida panhandle for decades. The contract stipulated that the former abortionist could not practice any medicine in the
Tri-county area for 24 months. The abortionist retired and moved back to Sweden. All abortions and referrals for abortions were immediately stopped by Dr. Lile.
In that same year, Dr. Lile founded ProLifeDoc.org. After touring the surgical suite in the abortionist’s office for the first time, and seeing the abortion equipment ready for the next procedure, Dr. Lile was called to dedicate his life to stopping abortion. He now tours the United States using the tools of modern Obstetrics to show the life within the womb from the moment of conception. Ultrasound and fetoscopic videos are used to show the personhood of the pre-born. Surgical interventions and even blood transfusions are available to babies while still in the womb. The pre-born are treated as patients. Dr. Lile has produced videos which are available on www.ProLifeDoc.org. The videos show Dr. Lile speaking to large congregations and TV interviews. Bloodless demonstrations, using retired abortion equipment, teach the truth of abortion in all three trimesters, in an honest, viewable way. The history of abortion, and the impact it has had on our society are discussed. In 2012, the average attendance of a Florida State home football game was 75,601, in that same year 76,138 abortions were reported in Florida. In 1973, through the Endangered Species Act, unborn Sea Turtles still in their eggs on Florida beaches were granted full protection, however, Roe vs. Wade removed protection for unborn babies in that same year.
Dr. Lile has presented the truth of abortion to scores of Pregnancy Resource Centers, Liberty University, Heartbeat International, National Right to Life, Georgia Right to Life, Priests for Life, The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), The United States Council of Catholic Bishops, Respect Life, and has been interviewed by Dr. James Dobson for two upcoming radio programs. The truth of abortion is clearly taught. The necessity of making changes in our country is explained. Audiences are educated and motivated to step forward to protect LIFE from conception to natural death. This battle can be won!
God’s love for the pre-born is evident in scripture and the effect that the sin of abortion has had on our nation is clear. Healing can only begin with true forgiveness, which is only available through the blood ofJesus Christ. The Church must be bold is declaring abortion a sin, share the message of love, forgiveness and salvation available through Jesus Christ, and compassionately meet the needs of those in a crisis pregnancy.
